Rancheria Falls is a spectacular 150 ft. high waterfall, located near Huntington Lake. Rancheria Creek has a large drainage, so it will be flowing well into the late summer months.
It is a very easy hike to reach along the Rancheria Falls Natl. Recreation Trail, and it may also be a popular one. The trail gently climbs up to the base of the falls after only a mile of hiking. From here, you can enjoy the beauty of this awesome waterfall, as it plunges for about 60-70 ft., then continues cascading down the canyon. It may be possible to get right down to the creek in various spots, but be careful because it is steep.
