Cascade Acres is a series of small cascades on the Falls River. The appearance of these miniature cascades expanding the width and visible length of the river in this location give the impression that they continue on for "acres". Cascade Acres is very picturesque, but not really noteworthy as a waterfall. Yet it is listed on park maps and in waterfall books, and is worth stopping to take a gander at on the way to Terraced Falls.
As you walk down the Cascade Creek trail, which becomes the Terraced Falls trail, you will see Cascade Acres behind you after the trail reaches the Falls River and starts to head downstream. There is not any great vantage point from the trail, and you will have to scramble through some brush to get to a decent spot to view it and take a picture (which you will want to do rather quickly if the mosquitoes are biting).
