Although not nearly as scenic as Phillips Gulch Falls, there is a second waterfall that drops into the ocean at Salt Point State Park: Chinese Gulch Falls. It is possible to get down to the bottom of Chinese Gulch Falls with only a slight bit of scrambling and difficulty (unlike Phillips Gulch). Chinese Gulch Falls is only 12 ft., however, and not too exciting, but it may be more interesting if the creek is flowing better in the winter. This falls will dry up in the summer.
