There are no less than eight significant waterfalls on the Middle Fork San Joaquin River above Devils Postpile National Monument to Thousand Island Lake, and they are all absolutely marvelous. It is surprising the waterfalls on the MF San Joaqin River are so little documented. This river is completely gorgeous and highly recommended to visit in the spring.
