What? Niagara Falls on Vancouver Island!? That can not be right! Well, to be sure, this is not the famous Niagara Falls that we all know about in Ontario / New York. Nor does it have anywhere near the grandeur of the other one. This Niagara Falls is just a small little stream cascading down Niagara Creek. But if you are in the area, why not go see it? It even has a pool at the bottom you can jump into, though it may be on the chilly side. Sorry we do not have any good pictures of this waterfall. Goldstream Park is located just outside Victoria, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world (in my humble opinion, having lived there for 12 years). The park itself has some good camping, and other good hiking close by. And if you are there in the fall, you will get to see (and smell) all the salmon making their way upstream along Goldstream River.
