Shackleford Falls is the coolest little waterfall I have seen. It is only 14 ft. high, but is so exciting and has plenty of photo opportunities. In the winter, in particular, I found that it is incredibly beautiful, with snow and ice around the falls. In the summer, I suspect it is also quite nice as well, and you can likely swim in the pool below the falls as well.
