Upper New York Canyon Falls is an interesting 81 ft. high cascade that can be seen from Sailor Flat Rd in the spring time. It looks pretty impressive actually from Sailor Flat, though not nearly as exciting when you get right up to it. It is found on an unmarked branch of New York Creek, one of three main creeks joining together to form New York Creek at its source. The waterfall is on the smallest of the three creeks. It is still a nice cascade, and worth seeing once, but definitely go as early in the spring as possible.
