Continue on the Merced Lake trail another 1 mile above Merced River Falls and you will reach another spectacular cascade along the Merced River, Bunnell Cascade. Bunnell Cascade is 53 ft. high, and is another stunning slide along this exciting river, especially in the spring. In the summer months, it is likely possible to swim in the pool below the cascade, though the water may be rather cold.
