Canyon Creek Falls is a gorgeous tiered and very remote waterfall, located near the confluence with the Middle Fork American River. Rafters on the Middle Fork stop here often for a break, but I had never before heard of anyone hiking to this waterfall. After much research, I found an obscure trail to Canyon Creek; it is an adventure, and very strenuous, but certainly worth the effort.
