Eagle Lake Falls is a spectacular 174 ft. high triple falls, located on Eagle Creek above Eagle Lake in the Desolation Wilderness. This is the same creek where you will find Lower Eagle Falls dropping into Emerald Bay. And although Lower Eagle Falls is one of the most popular and most photographed waterfalls in all of California, very few people know about (and much fewer have been to) this Eagle Lake Falls, which is higher and arguably more spectacular than Lower Eagle Falls.
