Golden Cascade is a very interesting cascade, located in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, along the west fork of Berry Creek, upstream of Berry Creek Falls. What makes the cascade so interesting is the orange colour of the rocks that the water flows over. This colour is caused by brown algae growing on the sandstone.
