Lake Spaulding Falls is a man-made waterfall, dropping from the dam at Lake Spaulding, forming the South Yuba River below Lake Spaulding. As far as man-made waterfalls go, however, it is certainly a spectacular one, crashing down 278 ft. through a narrow slot in a canyon wall. When it is flowing, it is well worth the easy hike to see it.
