Loma Alta Falls, aka Fairfax Falls, is a nice little waterfall falling off Loma Alta Mountain on Fairfax Creek. It consists of two tiers with a total height of about 35 ft., and is an easy walk from the parking area. This waterfall would be very nice to see when the creek is flowing hard after a good rain. When we were here, a few days after a storm, the creek was already at low flow.
