Lundy Canyon is one of the most gorgeous hikes in the Eastern Sierras, with plenty of lovely waterfalls to see as well. Lundy Canyon Falls consists of six separate cascades in a very scenic canyon, and the last one is a doozy (537 ft. high). The waterfalls are best seen early in summer (June), along with the mosquitoes. But in October, the fall colors in Lundy Canyon can not be beat if you are here when the aspens are changing, and the waterfalls on Lundy Canyon Creek will still be flowing nicely. It is my favorite Autumn hike bar none.
