I was very pleasantly surprised when I found Merced River Falls. I was expecting about a 20 ft. or so waterfall along the Merced River here, but instead found a spectacular 58 ft. high slide. It is a stunning cascade along the river. It looks like it would be a cool water slide to go down on your behind, but the power of the river here is quite remarkable.
