Root Creek Falls is a 350 ft. waterfall dropping off the Castle Dome rock in Castle Crags State Park, but it is best seen in spring time when the snow is melting. Root Creek Falls has a very low drainage, and after the snow is all melted, Root Creek is reduced to a trickle.
