Just above Vernal Falls is a very cool looking water slide called the Silver Apron. The Merced River shoots down from the bridge below Nevada Falls into a nice little pool before dropping over Vernal Falls. There is no swimming here of course. You would not want to be sliding right over Vernal Falls. That would not be pretty.
