There are no clear views of Skoonichuk Falls, unfortunately. You will be peering through the trees to try to find an unobstructed view without much success. You can take a short spur trail down to the top of the waterfall. But be careful when you get there, as it is quite slippery. One wrong step and you are at the bottom of the falls. Apparently, it is also possible to get to the base of the falls by scrambling down the steep bank. But we are not sure how difficult it is to do this, or where the best place to scramble down is.
