Upper Mexican Gulch Falls was quite a bit of a surprise to me. I suspected there might be another waterfall on Mexican Gulch, but I really had no idea. As I descended into the gully from the road, most of the waterfall is hidden from view. At first it seemed it was going to be just a very small 15 foot waterfall, but when I got right down to the creek I could see the lower tier, and found a very pretty two tiered waterfall 25 ft. in total height. Mexican Gulch has a very small drainage, but if you come here when the creek is flowing high, this would be an incredibly beautiful waterfall to see.
