Salt Creek Falls is a gem of complete magnificence. It plunges 286 ft. over a cliff into a pool below. It is supposedly the 2nd highest waterfall in Oregon. That might be debatable. Nevertheless, it is a beauty. A trail leads from the top of the falls around to near the bottom. This is highly recommended, to give a close-up and different perspective of the waterfall. You can scramble further, right down to the creek, but you will get pretty wet. I got almost to the bottom before it got too wet and slippery to continue further.
